How we work, broadly
Every project at Raku Room begins with listening — to the client and to the space. We do not carry in a pre-formed idea of what the result should look like. We build proposals from what we find, using materials we can vouch for and craftspeople whose work we know. The design process is transparent, documented, and paced to suit the client.

Character Reading

A thoughtful session to understand the character of your space and your relationship with it. Includes a site visit, notes on existing qualities worth preserving, and reference imagery for potential directions. For homes with history and new spaces seeking identity. Delivered within one week. A respectful, observant beginning.
